Trent Park in North London is one of my favourite places to visit with my friend and our dog Chase. It’s just a short bus ride from my home and once we’re there it’s 413 acres of rolling meadows, enchanting brooks, exquisite lakes and ancient woodland.
It’s one of the few places I can go to where I can forget about civilisation; the noise, the smells, the buildings, cars, buses and trains. I turn off my phone and I just wander. The deeper I am in the woods, the more peace I feel. The denser it gets, the more intense the colours are and that’s how I remembered it when I painted this.
