Abstract things are difficult for me. Ambiguity makes me nervous, but for some reasons I felt compelled to visually explore the phenomenon of synesthesia, something I share with many other autists.

For me it manifests when sounds in my brain create bursts of light and colour, and vice versa. This is why composing music is like second nature to me, next to painting, because I can “see” a melody, either as a pattern or randomized.

So I tried to visualize what two different sounds might look like (The Colour Of Sound II).

Which one “sounds” rougher to you?
