I wear these colours so you don’t see the black of my soul
To hide; where my heart was,
is now just a hole
I laugh and dance and
play the part so well
But deep inside, burn the

I’m something else,
something quite other
No one knows exactly what,
just ask my mother
So I’ll keep it contained for
as long as I can
Masquerading as a normal woman, or man
