In her full burka against the starry sky, this pencil drawing can be seen as a political statement but it’s not.

There’s so much beauty in the way these garments are produced and worn; such fine intricate details. I can see that they’re worn with pride and I don’t understand the statements that to ban them reduces terrorism. This leaves us with a question then; is she looking out to the stars, or directly at us?
