It’s a wonder of nature, a rare flowering plant that only blooms for a short time, and when it does – its pungent odour juxtaposed with its beauty, makes it quite an experience to witness. For me, the Corpse Flower signifies duality; that for everything which exists, there’s also its polar opposite existing right there along with it.

For example, my Asperger’s is like a Corpse Flower; yes, I do live with the triad of impairments (social communication, social interaction and social imagination) and an array of sensory issues and life with me can be difficult for others, but it also enables me to be creative visually and musically.
